Oxfordshire County and Thame Show – Saturday 13th July 2013

We are back! After no show in 2012 we are delighted to announce that our 2013 show will run on 13th July. We have revised our showground layout and have many exciting new attractions and displays.
a) We are introducing a Food & Drink Village where approx 50 food retailers and local producers will be selling a wide range of food and local beers.
b) The ever popular Countryside Arena will be surrounded by a superb selection of countryman demonstrating their skills.
c) A brand new look “Home & Gardens” Marquee (formally Domestic).
d) Bird, Rabbit, Alpaca & Goat displays rather than competitions.
e) Fun dog show & competition.
We will still have all our livestock competitions (sheep, cattle, horses, donkeys) showjumping and scurry driving. Back by popular demand will be the Lamb National (sheep race), gundogs, falconry, Bob Hogg Sheepdogs, Kimblewick Hunt, agricultural displays, classic cars and the 1066 Pipes and Drums (Hastings) who attended in 2008. For the first time at Thame we have the Horse Whisperer and Pig Agility. We hope to introduce Chefs on Stage and a Mobile Farm if we are able to get sponsorship.

A great day out for everyone! It is hoped that next year the show will be even more successful as we continue our aim to promote the agricultural and livestock markets, an industry that affects us all. However, we could not possibly do this without sponsorship and donations towards the cost of running this prestigious event.

Sponsorship at the Oxfordshire County and Thame Show is both an effective shop window for promoting your organisation and a great way to support your local community. The Oxfordshire County and Thame Show is reputed to be the greatest one-day show in the country. It is a very high profile event attracting wide media coverage including radio and television.

There is a wide variety of opportunities ranging from livestock, signage, acreage, medical services, marquees, arenas, bandstand, members enclosure and all of the above. We acknowledge Sponsors in the Class Schedules and Show Catalogues and with PA announcements as appropriate. Sponsors of classes are encouraged to present the trophies and rosettes to class winners.
